About

The Florence Woman’s Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with deep roots in the heart of Florence, Arizona, first organized in 1897 and proudly federated with the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) in 1902. As part of one of the oldest and largest women’s volunteer movements in the world, our club is composed of women ages 18 and older who are united by a shared commitment to service, fellowship, and community improvement.

Members come together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others through volunteer work, civic engagement, and support for local initiatives. Our activities include hosting community events, offering educational and social gatherings, supporting scholarships and charitable programs, and maintaining our historic Spanish Colonial clubhouse — built in 1929 and serving as a welcoming center for club and community activities.

Whether volunteering, attending meetings and events, or collaborating with other local organizations, the Florence Woman’s Club continues to uphold its mission of strengthening community bonds and improving the quality of life for residents of Florence and the surrounding area.
